In reality I’m Damon Foster, a “30 something” male gamer residing in the United Kingdom, born and raised in the City of
Sheffield - a once world renowned industrial city famed for its steel production.

I’ve been playing video games from a young age. In fact, going back as far as I can recall into my childhood I fondly remember those eye opening trips to arcades whilst on family holidays to the seaside and being mesmerised by the sight of Space Invaders and Asteroids. Those pioneering games were the start of my infatuation.

As an entertainment medium video games have certainly come a long way, and I have been keenly following the evolution from the dingy ill-lit smoke filled arcades and onto home computers like the Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K and the Commodore Amiga 500, before finally diving into the console marketplace with the Sony Playstation, Nintendo 64, Sega Dreamcast, Sony Playstation 2, Nintendo Gamecube, and Microsoft Xbox. My love of video games continues to the present day with the “next” generation of consoles that include:

• Microsoft Xbox 360
• Nintendo Wii
• Nintendo DS Lite
• Sony PlayStation 3
• Sony PlayStation Portable

Review Policy

Reviews may not be “hot off the press” compared to financed industry sites, but I endeavour to try and play all games to completion, as a gamer and not working to a deadline, in order to ensure my opinions are as thorough as possible.

Impressions, are just what you’d expect - my initial thoughts on a game based upon a limited amount of play time, or based upon a demo / trial of a game that has been released.
